The short version
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, no trackers and no advertising pixels. Nothing is loaded from an external server, not even fonts. That is why there is no cookie banner and no profile of your visit. The only data I receive is what you type into the contact form yourself.
Who is responsible
Agentium, based in the Netherlands. I am the point of contact for everything on this page.
Contact: remco@agentium.nl
What happens when you visit this page
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like any web server, the host processes the technical data needed to deliver the page and to prevent abuse: your IP address, the page requested, the timestamp, and the browser type. I do not use that data for analysis and I do not link it to anything. Netlify acts as a processor under its data processing agreement.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely being able to serve and secure the website.
What happens when you use the contact form
The form at the bottom of the home page asks for your name, email address, company and role, optionally your industry and headcount, and a short description of where the manual work sits at your place. I do not ask for more than that.
- Purpose: solely to answer your question and hold the conversation that follows. The industry and size fields only help me judge in advance whether I can genuinely help you.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You fill the form in yourself, on your own initiative.
- Where it goes: the submission is processed by Netlify, Inc. (processor) and forwarded straight to my mailbox at Google Workspace (processor). There is no CRM, no marketing tool and no advertising platform in between.
- Retention: submissions that go nowhere are deleted within twelve months, both from my mailbox and from the Netlify dashboard.
- What does not happen: you are not added to a newsletter list, your data is not sold or shared for marketing, and you will not receive an automated follow-up sequence.
The form contains one hidden field that spam bots fill in and people do not. That field processes no personal data and measures nothing.
What happens when you email me
If you email remco@agentium.nl I receive and keep that message, including your name, email address and whatever you put in it. I use it solely to answer your question and, if a conversation follows, to maintain that contact.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in business communication, or performance of a contract if we start working together.
- Mailbox: Google Workspace. Google acts as a processor.
- Retention: correspondence that goes nowhere is deleted within twelve months. Correspondence that belongs to an engagement is kept as long as that engagement and the statutory record-keeping obligation require.
- If you would rather not be contacted again, reply “no” and I will remove you from my records.
If we work together
During an audit or a build I may get access to data from your business, such as sample order emails. For that:
- I ask for anonymised samples as standard. I need the structure, not your customers' names.
- If I record a conversation I ask permission first and explain why. The recording is deleted once the analysis is done.
- One client's data never ends up in the same environment as another client's.
- Before any engagement involving personal data, we sign a data processing agreement.
Sharing with others
I do not sell data and I do not share it with third parties for marketing. The only parties processing anything are the suppliers I need in order to work: the host and the mail provider, both named above.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Email remco@agentium.nl and I will respond within one month.
If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
This website is fully static: no database, no login, and no JavaScript running. The contact form submits only to this site itself and nowhere else. Traffic runs over HTTPS only. Access to the mailbox and the domain is protected with two-factor authentication. Found a security problem? See security.txt.
Changes
If this statement changes, the date at the top changes with it. No tracking will be added to this site without this text and the technical setup being updated to match.
